 EDXP BACKGROUND

EDXP, formed in 1995, is a non-commercial, on-line hobby venture, convened and managed by Bob Padula, of Melbourne, Australia. Even though membership is free, donations are invited from members to assist in purchasing new features for integration into the Home Page Website or linked on-line services.

There are no Committees, Councils or Constitutions, and the EDXP Charter is essentially one of a friendly community. Bob is a Consultant Professional Communications Engineer, and a freelance technical writer, and he's been actively involved with the radio monitoring (DXing) movement in editorial, or managerial capacities, for some 46 years. He holds the Australian Government Award of the Medal of the Order of Australia, (OAM) for services rendered in a voluntary capacity to shortwave radio.

OBLIGATIONS OF MEMBERS

EDXP exists to allow members to connect with each other, and they are expected to submit news, comments, opinions, and information to the Message List whenever possible. Membership may be terminated for inactivity.
